The problem is that we've been taught our entire life that we need to "fix" ourselves with the latest and greatest product or diet, and we've become more and more disconnected with our own body and intuition as a result.

The health and fitness world is filled with so many different opinions and conflicting information that it can feel impossible to know what to do. Lime & Greens Nutrition was created to help simplify it all for you. If you feel confused, frustrated, stressed out, stuck, or overwhelmed by food choices we can help simplify what healthy eating means for YOU. We all have different needs and desires, but no matter what obstacles you might be facing with your nutrition you are CAPABLE of making a change.

And the best part? You don't have to embark on this journey alone! We all need someone in our corner for support and encouragement along the way. And that's what we're here to do for you. We're here to provide you with a better understanding of nutrition information, give you strategies, guidance, accountability, and to challenge you beyond your comfort zone.

If you're ready to let go of old habits and beliefs that are holding you back, we can help you have the BREAKTHROUGH you need to living a more confidentenergized and vibrant life. Throughout my childhood and most of my young adult life nutrition wasn’t something I thought much about. I started swimming competitively at the age of 9, so I was very active and always appeared “fit”. Don’t let that fool you into thinking I was always “healthy” though.

It wasn’t really until I started coaching a swim team when I became interested in nutrition. Witnessing athletes struggle with their nutrition - turning to sketchy ways to either lose weight, gain muscle, or improve performance inspired me to be a positive, reliable resource for them.

While I was in school studying to become a dietitian I learned a lot about food. And it’s not what you’d expect… yes, I was learning all about weight loss, the complicated equations, diabetes, and cholesterol. However, while I had my nose buried in the textbooks my own personal eating habits took a turn for the worse. I started to put pressure on myself to eat perfectly since I was studying to become a nutrition expert. I began worrying about what my classmates were thinking about the lunch I packed, or afraid of judgement from my friends if I was caught eating something “bad”. It got to the point where I was eating one way in front of people (all of the kale and quinoa), and on Friday nights alone in my apartment I would eat all of the pizza and ice cream where nobody could see, judge, or criticize.

Living this way and trying to be too strict and rigid with my diet completely stripped the joy of eating away from me. It was exhausting, and I was sick of the guilt, and constantly thinking about food. I knew things had to change… eating healthy shouldn’t feel this complicated.

Over the years I’ve used the science of a Registered Dietitian and the heart of a human being who loves food to empower others to transform their diet in a way that’s SIMPLE, ENJOYABLE, and most importantly SUSTAINABLE.

I was finally able to collect the tools I needed to put an end to the hot-mess, roller coaster approach to food and start eating like a normal person… and now it’s YOUR TURN! Healthy eating can be easy. It can be fun. And, you don’t have to obsess over food anymore.
